Wyckoff Accumulation
Chart Pattern· DE: Wyckoff-Akkumulation
A trading-range schematic from Richard Wyckoff's method (1930s): institutional buyers allegedly absorb supply in a sideways range (phases A–E, with events like the Selling Climax, Secondary Test and Spring) before an upward markup. As a narrative it is unfalsifiable in chart form; only its countable events can be measured. The one event we have tested mechanically — the Spring — showed no measurable edge in a pre-registered study. The schematic itself is neither proven nor disproven by that; each further event needs its own locked rule and test.
Calculation
Not directly computable — a schematic, not a formula. Countable sub-events (Spring, Upthrust, Secondary Test) can each be given a mechanical rule and measured against the unconditional base rate.
