Market-cap change that comes from additional circulating supply of coins that already existed (emissions, unlocks), valued at the current price — money needed just to absorb new supply. Supply jumps above 50 % in a month (migrations, redenominations) are excluded as data breaks.
Calculation
Σ_i P_i(t) · (S_i(t) − S_i(t−1)) over coins present at both month ends with |ΔS/S| ≤ 50 %.
