The total size of open positions in a Hyperliquid perpetual, in coins and in USD. Changes are measured in coins, because the USD value also moves with the price while the positions stay the same.
Calculation
openInterest from metaAndAssetCtxs, one snapshot per UTC day (00:10); USD = openInterest × markPx. Forward-only — no history before the first snapshot (2026-10-03).
