Carry Monitor (ETF flows vs. CME Leveraged Funds)

Flows· DE: Carry-Monitor (ETF-Flows vs. CME Leveraged Funds)

Which part of a week's spot-BTC-ETF inflow coincided with a short build-up by CME Leveraged Funds — i.e. is compatible with a basis trade — and which did not. Each CFTC week is labelled carry_konsistent (inflow, rising net short), unwind_konsistent (outflow, falling net short), direktional (inflow without rising net short) or unklar. Descriptive, not a signal; no futures-basis condition is applied yet.

Calculation
Week = day after the previous CFTC report date to the report date. ETF net flows of the US trading days in the window, converted to BTC at the same-day close; Leveraged-Funds net short in BTC = standard contracts × 5 + micro × 0.1; label from the signs of flow and Δ net short (D4).
