If you've read one of our strategy reports, you know the pattern: we take a strategy, run it on a fixed universe, and write the result up across 30 pages. That's good when you want exactly that question answered. It's less good when your question is different.

The Custom Report Wizard goes live today. You pick which question we should answer for you.

What you choose

Four knobs, click through one wizard:

• Strategy: RSI/SMA, Golden Cross, RSI Overbought/Oversold, Stoch-RSI/SMA, OBV-MACD v2, EMA Trend Bias, WMA Trend Signal, Fear & Greed Cadence, BTC-Signal RSI/SMA. Free has access to 3, Pro+ to all 9.
• Universe: Top-10, Top-50, Top-100, or Top-250 coins by market cap, filtered to Binance USDT spot pairs with enough history.
• Period: last 2 years, last 5 years, since 2020, or maximum (depending on first listing date).
• Interval: daily, weekly, or monthly candles.

Before you click „Pay" you see:

• The exact final price (€0.10 per analyzed pair, capped between €14.99 and €49.99).
• Which pairs go into the universe — including a substitution note if some are too young (see below).
• A warmup notice if strategy and period don't fit ideally (e.g. Golden Cross 200 on only 2 years of history).

Substitution — the detail that makes the difference

Anyone who has ever tested Top-50 coins as a universe knows the problem: twelve of the 50 only landed on Binance in 2024, don't have enough history for a 1W backtest with warmup, and get excluded. The promised Top-50 quietly becomes a Top-38.

The wizard checks that before checkout. Pairs without enough history aren't just skipped — they're replaced with the next-largest pairs from the broader market until the universe hits the promised size. You see transparently which of the original Top-50 were replaced, and which pairs from rank 51+ came in instead.

Effect: „Top-50, of which 38 testable" becomes „50 real, internally consistent pairs". That's methodologically cleaner and lets you compare against our pre-built reports.

How delivery works

1. Stripe checkout with the live-calculated price. Pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, or SEPA.
2. Backtest runs asynchronously in the background. On /dashboard/account/reports you see live status (Pending → Queued → Running → Generating → Success). Top-10 reports are often ready in 2–3 minutes, Top-250 takes 10–15 minutes.
3. Email with download link as soon as the report is ready. Plus a permanent token link on the account page.
4. Delivery: PDF (bilingual DE+EN) and Excel with hybrid allocator tab. Same format as our pre-built reports.

If at least 50 % of backtests fail, we automatically refund — no capital stays stuck.

20 % Retention Code

After your first successful custom report you get a 20 % discount code for the next three reports, valid 90 days. Stripe promotion code, automatically tied to your account, visible directly in the wizard — no copy-paste, no separate email.

Concretely: first custom report €14.99, second €11.99, third €11.99, fourth €11.99. If you want to test multiple strategies against each other anyway, that's a clear incentive to buy them all in one go.

Where the wizard stands today (Phase A)

The wizard is crypto-only and without filters today. That covers the most common question — how does strategy X perform on Top-N coins over period Y. What comes later:

• Phase B: Filter add-on (200WMA, ATR Volatility, Altcoin Season) as an optional extension in the same wizard.
• Phase C: Stocks, ETFs, forex via EODHD.
• Phase D: Custom pair selector — pick pairs individually instead of by tier.
• Phase E: Custom strategy parameters in the wizard (RSI(7) instead of RSI(14), tune SMA period).

Phase A is the foundation. If traction shows the pattern works for users, B–E follow.

A transparent closing note

Pricing is deliberately per-pair-based. €14.99 for Top-10 is roughly what our pre-built Quick Insight reports cost — we don't want custom reports to cannibalize the fixed catalog. If you have a specific question, you go to the wizard. If you want a broad market analysis with story and context, you buy one of our pre-built reports.

Both formats have room side by side.
